A lot of randomness...

Happy Monday!

I haven't posted in about a week... and I have a lot of random thoughts and things going on...
SO, guess what?? I'm sharing them with all of you!

This week has been the first of many 'tough love' lessons we are teaching the little Booges.
(I can't believe he's going to be 8 months on Wednesday)
Up until this point, I have rocked him to sleep... and it sometimes takes FOREVER for him to fall asleep in my arms...

he LOVES playing with my face, rubbing my hair
ANYTHING to keep him awake.

WELL...
when the clock strikes 9pm, it's time for bed.
The first night was hard, he cried for hours about 15 minutes
and it BROKE my heart.
It's getting better, now he'll lay down and talk to him little stuffed bear for a bit
then roll over and fall asleep.

This is what he looked like when I left the room

He was BUSTED though, here he is again 15 minutes later...

We're learning, and I look forward to the day where I can just lay him down and he'll go right to sleep.

Any mommy (or non mommy) have any good tips?

My quest continues... for the PERFECT shampoo and conditioner

I have mentioned in past post about different shampoos and conditioners I've recently tried.
I want something that is natural (or has very few chemicals) as well as a good 'cleanser'.

Here are a few that I've tried...

which so far is my favorite.

This one smells amazing and leaves my hair super soft
however, I don't feel like it cleanses well
(and you need twice as much conditioner)

And this one... the New one..

This one is my least favorite, it makes me sad... I was hoping to REALLY Love this
shampoo and conditioner. It smells like a Hawaiian vacation.. but does nothing for my hair.

I know The Man is tired of looking at this every morning...

So, I'm back at it... The Search is ON!

What is your favorite hair product? What do you like about it?

Thank you for stopping by...

Peace and Love
XOXO,
Renae

  1. My son used to lie down by himself and go to sleep at night(after rocking & nursing of course), but would wake up every night at 3 am. When I stopped nursing him, I knew he had no reason to not wake up anymore at 3. So, we had to let him cry it out and it literally was hours. It took at least 2 1/2 hrs. the first night. The second night he cried for maybe a half hour and then he pretty much slept through the night or at least put himself back to sleep since. And he's 6 now. So, the crying thing actually works. Hopefully if you were still doing it, it's worked by now. If not, good luck. Following you now from the weekend wander.
